Tutoring Services and Organization Strategies

Educational experts agree – the most effective teaching method is one-on-one instruction.  Whether you are a student (or the parent of one!) who is looking to shore up some details in order to cement an "A" grade, or a student who needs a little extra help to pass a class, I am eager to help.  I have been tutoring privately as well as in College and University Learning Centers for over 5 years.  I have an Masters of Science in Mathematics and have also studied and tutored general chemistry.  I have a passion for student success in the classroom as well as encouraging academic inquiry.  I believe that tutoring is more than imparting academic know-how and will do my best to mitigate frustration and instill confidence and understanding in the students I tutor.
